The newly renovated Boone Mall is a re-invigorated place to shop in the Boone North Carolina Mountains. It is centrally located, with plenty of parking and there are several new stores.

The Belk Store and JCPenneys, great medium-sized department stores, South's clothing store (see website below), The Hallmark card shop and other long-tern successful Boone Mall businesses have been joined by Panera Bread Bakery and Restaurant and Old Navy Clothing.

The interior of the mall has been re-designed with marble floors and plenty of outdoor lighting. There is a newly-designed entrance next to the new Panera Bread Store and Old Navy Clothing Store.

On November 2 and 3, 2007 there will be a Holiday Craft Show at the Mall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The Mall owners have announced that Mangia Buona Italian Bistro will be opening soon near the rear entrance to the mall. According to the Mountain Times (see link below) "Barry Nicholson, representing Mangia Buona, presented a requested for a 139-seat restaurant in the Boone Mall. Nicholson said the project was part of the mall renovation undertaken by new owners was a sit-down restaurant, particularly an Italian restaurant. Mangia Buono will move its location from Valle Crucis, with 45 outdoor seats."

The Boone Shopping Mall is a convenient, comfortable place to shop and it is adding businesses not only new to the Mall but also new to the Boone shopping area.
