The Daniel Boone Native Gardens held their 3rd annual Early Bird Wildflower and Plant sale on Saturday April 24. Admission was free. It was a great chance to see spring wildflowers in bloom in the gardens which may not be visible after the gardens officially open on May 1.

There were several vendors selling native wildflowers, trees and other plants such as native columbines and flame azaleas.

The gardens are now listed in the AAA guidebooks for the area.
