When you ask someone in Boone where Reid's Café is you'll hear, "it's in the old jailhouse." This historic building has been the home to some of Boone's most unique restaurants over the years. Last year Reid's Café & Catering opened and has served crowds ever since.

Each day's menu is posted on their website (see link below). For lunch they offer freshly-made sandwiches and soups and a deli case full of fresh salads and wonderful pastries and chocolates. according to their website:

"In addition to the the many delicious pastries created at Reid's, we also make our own chocolates. Using the finest Belgian chocolate, Vermont butter, and organic cream, we prepare an array of truffles and bars. Please check out the selections often, as they change from week to week."

Reid's Catering has been in business for 10 years. Owner-operators Tina Houston and Angela Kelly focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and professional service.

The café is open for lunch Monday through Friday and for dinner Thursdays & Fridays. Check their website before you go to see what the days' offerings are.
